About Letina

 

	As spiritual person, I’ve always wondered why, and how we came to be, where do we begin and do we end, if at all? Are we spirit, are we physical, and how do we live spiritually in a physical world?

Drawing on childhood experiences, my Chinese heritage lead me to investigate the three Chinese metaphysical sciences in depth – Feng Shui, Chinese astrology, and the I Ching Oracle.

Thinking back now, these ethereal eastern philosophies have always been part of me. Through my dad, my grandparents, my uncles and aunties, every Chinese restaurant we’ve visited and any Chinese community we have ever been part of. The dragons, foo dogs, money toads, elephants with their trunks up, and of course the red and gold symbols of good luck, prosperity, and longevity, just to name a few, all over the place. And every year we’d celebrate Chinese New Year and usher in the auspicious spirits, the energy of that year with dragons, drums, firecrackers and red envelopes filled with money.

In a manner that I didn’t comprehend, or remotely understand at the time, my upbringing was shaping me, and had piqued my interest in beautiful and meaningful rituals.

Believing strongly that we are more than what we see, I have always had an interest in palmistry, fortune telling, actually any medium that would add a spiritual dimension to my life, and connect me to something higher, to a different realm. Indeed my father’s stories of his own palm readings, and our annual adventures together to a wonderful clairvoyant have created firm and long lasting memories for me. And these too, have shaped my personal philosophies in a way I could never have imagined at the time.

People tend to adopt feng shui principles, indeed any metaphysical dimension into their lives when they need it most. After the birth of our twins, and having given away a demanding but quite superficial marketing role, I realised that a more meaningful career was only one decision away. So I made the choice, and consequently my career is to share the information I’ve gained. To ensure that my clients, friends, students and families can benefit to not only make money, and lead successful lives, but most importantly to live their lives to the fullest, in optimum health and with vitality.

That’s what we are about, that’s our life work. To imagine, to dream, to make choices, and keep on creating, whilst all the time expanding the spiritual aspects of our physical experience.
